Karen Kollias is a longtime community development finance professional with a passion for bringing resources to the underserved. Karen is the founder of NCALL Loan Fund in Dover, DE and has held the position of Loan Fund Director for NCALL Research Inc. since 2004. NCALL Loan Fund is a certified CDFI and CDE lender primarily serving the rural communities of Delmarva, where it provides loans to qualified non-profit organizations and local governments. Karen is responsible for the growth, certification and expansion of the loan fund, conducting the underwriting of loans, coordinating with Loan Fund Committee members and NCALL’s Executive Director. She is responsible for capitalization and resource development strategies as well as customer service. Prior to her arrival at NCALL, Karen worked for five years as District Director of NeighborWorks of America in Baltimore, MD where she managed the operating grant allocation process for over twenty non-profit organizations. Karen also was Senior Vice President at Bank of America where she created and managed the Community Development Lending group.
