Megan Teare is a senior vice president with the Wells Fargo Community Lending and Investment group where she manages the Equity Equivalent (EQ2) Investment and CDFI Lending programs. Prior to this position, she worked with the community development lending group at the bank. Before joining Wells Fargo, she served as senior loan officer at the McAuley Institute, a Community Development Financial Institution, in Washington, D.C., and as a consultant to nonprofit housing developers. She has a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Virginia. Teare is also president of the board of directors of the Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund, sits on the board of Neighborworks Capital, and is a member of the loan committee of the Family Housing Fund’s Home Prosperity Fund and the Twin Cities Community Land Bank.
