Previously, Laurie served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the President’s housing agenda, increasing housing production by 17%, and securing billions in funding for sustainable development. She also led the development of the nation’s first Climate Resilience Framework, enhancing investment strategies for physical risk reduction across the country.

With a strong background in structuring complex deals, fostering investor relations, and integrating climate risk into financial systems, Laurie has held leadership roles at Enterprise Community Investment and Enterprise Community Partners. Her work has shaped national housing and climate policies, secured multimillion-dollar investments, and influenced key legislation.
