
Emily Blake is the Manager of Development and Fundraising at Partners for the Common Good (PCG), a national, nonprofit community development financial institution. In her role, Emily is responsible for fundraising, investor relations, and grant management for PCG.
Emily brings over 12 years of nonprofit experience to PCG. Prior to taking on a full-time role, she assisted PCG for two years as a senior advisor and special projects consultant. Prior to PCG, Emily served as a Principal at a 175 student K-8 parochial school operated by the Catholic Archdiocese of New York, where her responsibilities included the design and execution of the school’s strategic plan, focusing on curriculum, budget management, fundraising, enrollment and faculty. Previously, she served as a Curriculum Analyst with the Archdiocese, and in administrative and direct support roles at a range of New York City-based parochial and charter schools. From 2013-2014 Emily was honored to serve as an AmeriCorps fellow, focused on literacy programming in Washington, D.C., building capacity at non-profit organizations focused on the needs of underserved children and youth.
Emily is a member of the Junior League of Washington, and volunteers as Chair of the Local School Advisory Team at her local public elementary school. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, and in 2019 was honored with a placement in the New York Archdiocese’s Curran Catholic School Leadership Academy. A native of Long Island, NY, she lives with her family in Washington, D.C.
