The Resurgent Phase I

In partnership with The Innovate Fund and Wells Fargo, Partners sub-allocated $12.5 million from its recent $50 million NMTC award to fund the construction of The Resurgent Phase I, located directly across from North Carolina A&T State University. Phase I consists of a 50,000 SF office building that will feature office space for the University, primary and urgent care facilities for use by Cone Health, and an entrepreneurial training hub. The North Carolina A&T Real Estate Foundation (Foundation) and Cone Health, through The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital Operating Corporation, are the sponsors. The Foundation supports North Carolina A&T State University, which is the country’s top and largest historically Black university (HBCU). Upon completion, The Resurgent will serve 15,000 (65% LIP) unique medical patients, 300 entrepreneurs (90% Black), and North Carolina A&T State University nursing/medical students.
